Knowledgeable, caring and patient is how my past clients have described me.  I’m proud of these important qualities and I think it comes from the fact that when you’re my client your best interest is my main priority.

We’re in an ever-changing real estate market and I make it a point to be thoroughly informed in market trends. I use the latest research tools to inform my buyers and sellers of these conditions so they can make an informed decision.  My past experience as an engineer and in the construction industry gives me a superior understanding of potential problems in a home. Additionally, my personal experience rehabbing a home and working as a landlord benefit my clients who may be interested in doing the same.

There is nothing more satisfying to me than finding my clients their dream home.  When that involves selling their current home, I use an aggressive impact marketing program to get results.  I give my sellers regular market and marketing activity updates. Not everyone’s dream property is the same; my experience in all types of transactions: traditional, relocation, bank-owned and short-sales helps me guide my clients through what can be a difficult process.

I've earned the designation of Leading Real Estate Specialist (LRS) through past sales experience and extensive training. This designation certifies my ability to work as a relocation professional. It also means I can help you with a move anywhere in the world!

Bottom line: I want what’s best for you. For sellers this means selling for the best price, in the least amount of time and with the least amount of inconvenience. For buyers it means taking the time to educate them in the market and finding the right property. If the right property isn’t on the market or we need to look at different areas and property types, we wait or change our strategy.

I also believe it’s important to give back to the community. For this reason I’ve served on the John C. Coonley School local school council, was a founding board member of the Friends of Coonley, acted as the marketing committee director for the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce and volunteer at some of our great local not for profits like the Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club and Common Pantry.

"Mike helped us sell our condo during a down market a couple years ago. He was absolutely great! He gave us advice on staging and all the little things that would make a difference. He also drove the entire process and guided us through the final sale of our house. A couple years after our sale Mike went out of his way to get in touch with us and inform us of a special program Nicor was running to assess your home for the correct levels of efficiency for heat and cooling and offer rebates for services to address any issues. Mike remembered that we had bought an older home after selling out condo! We ended up saving over a $1000 on new insulation and weather proofing… our new home has never been warmer!"
